Bold, colourful, coastal and completely them. Alice and Jan’s wedding at Ancora Weddings was a celebration that had personality written into every detail, from the mismatched bridesmaid dresses and epic groomsmen gift packs to a colourful bouquet that popped against the waterfront backdrop. With Byron Bay halloumi, slow roast lamb, and roast pumpkin arancini canapés winning over the crowd, a seamless flow between ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, and a first look with her dad that Alice calls one of her most memorable moments, this wedding had heart, colour, and energy in equal measure. The kind of day you’d do all over again. Which, as it turns out, is exactly what Alice said.

“We loved the vibe of Ancora with the light open spaces next to the water – it is very us!. The menu and packages available were an added bonus and the staff were also very welcoming and helpful from day one.”

The Best Part ~

I”t’s hard to pick a favourite part because all of our vendors were amazing and the atmosphere they created was beyond perfect!! The venue was set up with such a great flow between the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces and we would do it all over again!”

A Special Moment ~

“There were so many special moments during our day. However, having a first look with my dad prior to the ceremony was one of my most memorable moments. Another was having all of our closest friends and family travel to celebrate with us, the love and energy they gave during our reception entrance and during the speeches was unforgettable.”
