Why Ancora ~

The vibe the venue gave off was exactly what we were looking for. With a stunning backdrop of the water and a beautiful fresh slate, it just ticked all our boxes and made styling an absolute dream. I also spend a lot of time in the Coolangatta and Tweed Heads area during the Christmas holiday period and have done so ever since I was little, so when we started looking at wedding venues Ancora felt like the perfect choice.

The Best Part ~

The food was to die for and all of our guests thought the same. The venue also turned out so beautifully and all of the staff on the day were incredibly helpful. Even leading up to the day, any team member that we spoke to from Ancora was super helpful and responsive which made the whole planning process more enjoyable and less stressful.

Favourite Thing on the Menu ~

This is a tough question because everything was so delicious! But for us, we’d have to say the pork belly and herb crusted fish.

A Special Moment ~

Matika ~ Arriving to the ceremony was the most special part for me. Getting to walk down the aisle with both of my parents and see Ryan at the end shedding a tear was a moment I will never forget. Also, getting to do a surprise father/daughter dance with my dad and seeing everyone’s reactions when we started dancing to Crank That (Soulja Boy) was the absolute best!

Ryan ~ Coming into our reception and seeing everything we had planned come to life, along with seeing all of family and friends with a smile on their faces and a drink in their hand.
