“My husband and I were married in August and had our reception at Ancora. We loved that we could personalise our wedding to suit our theme – simple but elegant. The venue looked so beautiful at night with the fairy lit tree and with the extra fairy lights that we added on the balcony. The food was amazing! Prior to booking Ancora, we checked out Taverna – their sister restaurant in Kingscliff which serves a ‘chefs table’ menu similar to that served on our wedding night at Ancora. The food definitely won us over making us book the very next day! There was plenty of it and our guests went home with very happy tummies. If you’re looking for a romantic, open, waterfront venue, we would recommend Ancora.”
