Tara + Wade ~ Ancora Real Wedding

Tara + Wade’s waterside wedding with pops of peach + rose just puts a smile on our faces. While wet weather threatened to put a dampener on this beautiful celebration, Tara + Wade stood by their wedding style and stay relaxed, while having oh so much fun and had flexibility to change their plans on the fly. WHY ANCORA ~

We chose Ancora as we loved the location, vibe, fresh open style and the possibility of having our ceremony and reception all at the same place.

BEST PART ~

So many things! But the service and food would have to be the standout! The staff were incredible throughout the whole planning process as well as on the day. Everything was amazing.

CHANGE OF PLANS ~

After our ceremony and family photos, we came inside to enjoy the cocktail hour and mingle with our guests for little while before we went for our bridal party photos, and it was the best! So glad we did this. Because of the light rain on the day, we made the decision with Danielle, our photographer, not to go anywhere off-site for our photos like we had planned, so we just had photos out the front of Ancora and by the river and it meant we ended up having so much extra time hanging out with our guests, which we loved.

FAVE THING ON THE MENU ~

Oh, too many things to choose from. Everything was outstanding! Probably the slow roasted lamb shoulder would have to have been the favourite.

A SPECIAL MOMENT ~

Tara: Arriving to the ceremony and walking down the aisle was the most special part of the day for me, seeing all of our family and friends smiling at me and then meeting Wade at the end of the aisle was my favourite part.Also, all of our speeches were so funny and definitely a memorable part of the day.

Wade: Most special part was saying our vows to each other.
